„Played by me“

/Dances of Musicians/

This production is actually a dream world, which conjures up all the greatest figures of traditional music, the skillful players of village bands to one stage simultaneously. This is an exceptional occasion when they do not play to entertain others but revel themselves – play music, sing and above all, dance. The musicians who come to life on stage have created something extraordinary as dancers as well. The show is a real treat, which besides lining up genuine values, offers real, oblivious entertainment.

Length: 60 min.

"Rather than a 'folklore performance' it should be called a one act theatrical play recalling a part of the past. That is, how ethnographic collection, recordings and filming took place, how the last great regional musicians revelled and celebrated. The capture of those rare, precious moments when, with some encouragement, the elderly violinist proves his dance skills are also exceptional, or in high spirits, leaves the band and joins the revellers. Those moments when joking, competitiveness and parody begins."
