Census 2011

Before the census, in spring 2011 Ifjú Szivek Dance Theatre made a 29 date tour in those parts of Slovakia that are the most densely populated by minorities. The programme incorporated the dance and music culture of the nationalities living in Slovakia in the highest proportion – Hungarian, Slovak, Gypsy, Rusin and Jewish dances and music – as well as writings about these regions by Zoltán Kodály, Béla Bartók, Sándor Petőfi and Sándor Márai.
