Old people's stories are often disjointed and boring. Do we really have to listen to them all the way through? Names get mixed up, dates become confused, and among elderly Bratislava residents even languages blend together. How will you tell your grandchildren about today? About your wedding? About everyday life in Bratislava? What language will you speak? Assuming, of course, that your mouth will still obey your brain.
This production was created using material from Jozef Tancer's book Rozviazané jazyky (Untied Tongues).
The performance is presented in three languages—Slovak, Hungarian, and German—and is subtitled in all three languages.
